A huge congratulations to Lyndsay! 👏

We are incredibly proud to congratulate Lyndsay on receiving a 2026 Principal Network Excellence Award, following his nomination by Sylvania High School in recognition of his outstanding community partnership and service to students.

Every Tuesday, Lyndsay works with students from Sylvania High School, introducing them to lawn bowls, helping develop their skills and guiding them through competitions throughout the year.

Alongside his wife Kay, Lyndsay gives so much of his time, knowledge and encouragement to the next generation of bowlers. Together, they are helping build confident young players and creating a strong future for bowls within our local community.

This award is a wonderful and very well-deserved recognition of Lyndsay’s dedication and the positive impact he continues to have on the students of Sylvania High School.

Congratulations Lyndsay Makin a well deserved honour after years of work

Join us for our Family Day on the Green on Sunday 30th August – a huge afternoon of fun for the whole family!

We’ll have face painting, putt putt golf, a giant soccer target and kids entertainment from 12pm–3pm, plus fantastic live music from Travis Drew 11:30am–2:30pm and Oscar Kami 2:30pm–5:30pm. 🎨⛳⚽🎶

Come hungry too – The Tree House Bistro will be serving up plenty of great food all day!
